“I am a 58 year old male from the UK who has suffered from myopia (-5.25 and -5.75) since the age of 9. Did quite a bit of research and reviews for Beauty in Prague were favourable so I booked my surgery for first week in December 2023. I was given different anaesthetic drops prior to the surgery, which was completely painless. It took 15-20 min all in all and the surgeon, Mr Jiri Pasta was a lovely, friendly and utterly professional. Slept through the whole afternoon, evening and night, and woke up with clear vision. I was picked up by a taxi and taken to the clinic for a check-up. I had full vision on my left eye and about 0.75 on my right eye; however, close-up vision was better on my right eye and I could finally read small print on medicine bottles etc. It is now 11 days since the surgery and I could not be happier with the outcome. “Fantastic service & equally fantastic treatment. From the initial enquiry to Beauty in Prague to completion of treatment the service has been exemplary. Everything continued like clockwork & proceeded with military precision. Wednesday was as organised (day of surgery). Again met from the taxi by Theresa with that fantastic smile. Was I nervous ? What do you think. There was no need to be also on the plus’s side for me George had nice relaxing 60s music playing quietly in the background. I don’t expect to have 60:60 vision just yet as it’s less than 24hrs since I had my surgery. However already the difference is clear to see. I expect full results will be achieved in about three months as indicated by the clinic. George my surgeon explained how important it is to use your eyes near/ far & intermediate distances to re-train your brain to your new found vision. From the initial enquiry they were excellent, I got prompt replies to my emails and all questions regarding the procedure and travel we’re answered. A date for the procedure was offered and No deposit was asked for, Simply booking my flights was taken as confirmation. Tereza was assigned to me as coordinator for my trip and she goes above and beyond with constant updates and information regarding the process. George was my surgeon and he was very friendly and puts you at ease explaining everything he is doing throughout the process. “I had trifocal lens replacements in both eyes on 22nd November so I’m nearly one week post op. I struggled that day but the next day it was excellent. The service and communication was 100% Once I made the decision to go ahead with the surgery the clinic was excellent down to sending recommendations on where to stay and arranging taxi pick ups to and from the airport and hotel to clinic appointment’s. With the surgery it only took 10 minutes each eye with no pain just a little pressure. Highly recommend.”
