Prof. Pašta served for many years as the Head of the Eye Clinic at the Central Military Hospital and Charles University in Prague and is now the professional guarantor of our Prague eye clinic. Dr. Radan Zugar is the Chief Physician of our eye clinic and one of the Czech Republic’s most experienced cataract and lens replacement surgeons. Having performed more than 30,000 successful cataract procedures, he is recognised for his surgical expertise, precision and commitment to delivering excellent visual outcomes for both Czech and international patients.
In addition to cataract and refractive lens surgery, Dr. Zugar specialises in the treatment of retinal diseases, glaucoma care and intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy. Since 2017, he has been appointed by the Czech Ministry of Health to serve on the National Accreditation and Examination Commission for Ophthalmology, helping maintain the highest standards of specialist training in the Czech Republic.
