“I should start by saying ive worn varifocal glasses for years . After extensive research into lens replacement surgery. I found that Czech Republic is regarded as center of excellence in opthalmology. I started by reading absolutely loads of reviews and researching the surgeons. I came up with one company that stood out from the rest. After extensive emails and questions that were all very quickly answered by Nela. I booked beauty in prague. I travelled alone and arrived on the 10th April 2023 as stated I was met from the airport and taken to my hotel. The following morning a taxi and the wonderful Beth met me outside the hotel . I was taken to what can only be described as a state of the art eye clinic where my eyes were thoroughly examined. After two meetings with the doctor. They were extremely honest and said due to some scarring on one of my eyes the trifocal lenses were not an option for me. However they recommended Edof lenses would be almost as good. Taking the advise given I went ahead on the Thursday. From start to finish everything was explained and went ahead without any problems. I pretty much knew from the reviews what to expect in the days and weeks following ghe surgery. But was not expecting to reading and texting without glasses that afternoon. Since then gradually as expected my eyes are getting better and better in the 5 weeks since surgery. As part of my job I hand sew furniture and can even do that without glasses. I would like to end with a special mention to Beth who explained and translated excellently when needed. She is a credit to your company.”
