“The whole process was very smooth. Right from our initial enquiry to our arrival in Prague we had good communication with Petra. She organised taxis to and from our hotel on multiple days (pre-op consultation day, day of operation, post-op check up and finally from our hotel to the airport as made our way home).

The modern eye clinic is a ten minute drive away from the city centre and the way everyone made their way through the many eye tests was very impressive. On operation day we were made to feel very relaxed, we were given eye drops which acted as anaesthetic. The operation itself lasted around ten minutes per eye, no pain at all (I’ve had a couple of teeth removed over the years and nowhere near as uncomfortable as that).

Once the operation was completed we went back to hotel around midday and rested in our room for a few hours. By 7pm we went down to the restaurant next door to our hotel, blurring had gone and we could see clearly. We even watched a film on Netflix that evening.

It’s now been six months since the Lens Replacement surgery in Prague and we have no complaints at all. Can see very clearly (distance and reading up close). Still see a bit of the halo effect on car headlights but got used to it now.

In terms of money we were quoted around £10k in the UK and we paid just over a third of that price in Prague for the operation. Well worth the money.”
