Andrea Janekova, M.D., FEBO
MUDr. Andrea Janeková, FEBO graduated from the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague.
In 2012 she completed a several-month internship at the Eye Department of the University Hospital Arnau, Llerida, Spain (University Hospital Arnau de Vilanova). She attended professional courses in Chicago (AAO Chicago 2016) and Vienna (Vienna phacoemulsification one week wetlab course 2017), as well as in Lisbon and Barcelona. In May 2019 Dr Janekova successfully passed the international European exam in Paris in ophthalmology and received the prestigious title FEBO (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology).
Since November 2012, Dr Janekova has been working as an ophthalmologist in the Eye Center in Prague. You can meet Dr. Janekova both in the surgery and in the operating room. She specializes mainly in refractive and cataract problems, in detail he deals with intraocular implants and cataract surgery.
Dr Janekova regularly participates in professional ophthalmological congresses and specialized courses for ophthalmologists in the Czech Republic and abroad. Dr Janekova actively lectured at international congresses:

We are thrilled to announce a momentous achievement at the Ophthalmology Center Prague – our esteemed doctor, MUDr. Andrea Janeková, FEBO, has been elected in 2023 to the board of directors of the Czech Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery (ČSRKCH). This achievement is both prestigious and historic, as Dr. Janeková has become one of the youngest members to join the society’s committee since its inception.
