Before the surgery, I actually felt quite calm. Everything was explained clearly to me and that really helped me feel confident about going ahead with it. The procedure itself was very quick and completely painless. It only took around 10–15 minutes per eye, and I was surprised how easy it was. What amazed me the most was how quickly I could see afterwards.
