Well, I can´t quite believe it, I´m 12 1/2lb lighter than I was a month ago. Of course, I´m telling people I´ve lost about 1st, but I´m determined that, before long, that´s what it will be. The benefits of my weight loss have been obvious.

My clothes fit me better, I´ve saved money not buying so much rubbish food and drink. But the biggest boon by far has been to my health. I feel amazing! And looking at the incredible health benefits weight loss can bring, I´m not surprised. I have more energy and I´m sleeping better.

When I started with Weight Watchers, I was 14st 8lb. Today I weigh 13st 9 1/2lb. At 5ft 5in I´m still overweight, but it´s a start and I intend to carry on. I´ve dropped a dress size and, by the summer, I hope to have dropped another.

My cholesterol was high at 6.7 and, having followed Weight Watchers plan, it´s now healthy 4.6. :-P

There is also a huge reduction in risk and symptoms of diabetes with significant weight loss. People with knee pain from being overweight will notice an improvement with any weight loss.

When I was a teenager I was very overweight. I was over 13st when I was 16. Having a healthy attitude about my weight really helped me. I just remind myself that I couldn´t be 7 1/2st even if I tried. But I´m relatively slim. I eat healthily and I try to kepp fit, too.

I gained 44lbs when I had my baby, especially while breast-feeding. I wasn´t happy with the weight gain, but I rationalised that it was all for a good cause. I have now been „very overweight“ for a year, and it is time to get back to my normal size. Because of my busy work schedule and young children, any weight-loss program out of home is unmanageable :-(
