I am a male at 40. I want to undergo the Liposuction method for my breast reduction but really want to know about the post treatment maintainance and whether it would require regular visits post treatment or periodic Liposuction after a sucessful treatment. Thanks for listening and replies are anxiously awaited :-|.

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your question.

I must say recently we had many male clients for Gynecomastia – Male Breast/Chest reduction. Some of them had the smaller surgery done – Medium Gynecomastia, where mostly only liposuction on chest is performed or some of them needed Large Male Breast Reduction, where along liposuction (fat removal) also ramoval of gland was performed.

If you are not sure which treatment of Gynecomastia would be more suitable for you or you would like to know whether you are indicated to it you can simply apply for our Free Cosmetic surgery consultation.

According to our experience with clients who underwent Male Breast Reduction with us, they did not need any special aftercare. You will be advised by your Prague plastic surgeon on the minimum stay in Prague and on the aftercare, which you have to follow. None of our clients felt too much pain after the surgery and most of them 2 days after the gynecomastia surgery were able to explore the beautiful city of Prague :-)

Please find more information about Gynecomastia – Male Breast Reduction on our website.

Have a great day, Tamara

Hi

I am living in the UK and considering coming to your clinic to have the large Gynecomastia surgery. Before I make my decision I would like to ask a few questions. How long have you been operating for? How many Gynecomastia surgery has your doctors done? Where can I view more before and after photos? I can only find 1 example. Sorry if I have many questions but can't wait to get it done.

Thanks for your help

Dear Mr Paulson,

Thank you for your email.

As I wrote in the previous reply, your problem is quite common and we have usually 5–7 patients every month only from the UK who undergo Gynecomastia surgery.

I am very sorry we do not have more photos on our website, but we will update them soon as we have asked our patients to keep us updated with their recovery process (including after photos).

However, once you complete your Free email consultation we will provide you with telephone numbers from our previous clients from the UK who underwent Gynecomastia with us and who are happy to speak about their experience with us.

Our Prague plastic surgeons are very experienced with Male Breast Reduction surgery and most of them perform this type of the surgery over 15–20 years. Usually this type of the surgery is performed by Prof Nejedly, Dr Kulhanek, Dr Vrtiskova or Dr Fialova. If you would prefer any of these plastic surgeons please write it when filling in the Medical Questionnaire for your Free consultation.

It is fine to have questions as you can make the right decision only when you are an informed patient :-) especially when it comes to cosmetic surgery abroad

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon, Tamara – Beauty in Prague

I am a 35 year old healthy male who works out 5 times a weka nd am relatively toned. Unfortunatley I suffer from Gynecomastia which is made up of both fat and gland tissue and no amount of excercise will shift. Please can you let me know what is required from me for such an operation, the costings and when the operation can be performed.

Hi,

I have quite a large chest due to the fact that I go to the gym but have ‚over developed‘ my chest slightly on the top but have glandular tissue underneath my nipples – what can you do to help flatten my chest and what type of excercise would you reccomend to minimiss my mucles on my pecs.
Regards

Rick

Dear Rick,

thank you for your question.

Gynecomastia can occur naturally or as a side effect of anabolic steroids and other medications. It has also been implicated with the excessive use of marijuana.

Often gynecomastia exercise can worsen the problem. Try to make sure you do inclined bench press exercises. By building up your upper chest, you will create a lifting effect to the chest fat. Your chest will look more elevated, less saggy and the biggest change of all will begin.

However, in some cases this might not help and gynecomastia surgery is the only solution.

If you would like to know whether you are indicated for gynecomastia treatment please apply for our free Gynecomastia Consultation – fill in the Medical Questionnaire and send us the photos of the areas to be treated.

Have a great day, Tamara

Dear Bryan,

Thank you for your question.

To find out whether you are indicated to Gynecomastia surgery in your case we are advising you to have the breast screening test called mammography which is a special X-ray picture of your breasts/chest. This will show whether there is a problem with enlargement of gland tissue.

Please visit your GP to advise you where can be this examination done.

Once you will have the results please contact us by applying for our free email consultation.

However, gynecomastia surgery can be performed on patients 18 years old and older.

Have a great day,

Hi, I have looked at your page and believe the surgery is what I need. I have had these for about 10 yrs now. I am 30 and they have increased over time. Its getting harder to conceal them (i think they stick out about 2cm when I measured them from underneath!). I believe this would need „medium surgery“. I don't have a digital camera to take pics so how much would medium surgery cost? Does this include travel/ accomodation and if so how little could i get away for staying (I am married so will need to think of a good excuse!).
Many thanks
Mickey
