Lower Eyelid surgery

I have been feeling over the past 6 months very critical about myself especially my eyes as this is the first signs of ageing. I feel I am losing my confidence slightly and this is something I feel will make me feel myself again.

I also have fat upper arms which I hate. this will be my next surgery with you guys.

I have the same problem Eleanor, my eyes, they are getting really puffy and baggy I haven't really thought of cosmetic surgery until lately but since the break up of my marrige I have become very self consious of them and now I have met a new partner I feel like I need a fresh start and that cannot happen until I am happy with myself. I am going to hopefully have lower eye bag removal by laser. Have you had or going to have this op yourself? Don't feel too down, there are others out there who have just the same problems as yourself and there is an answer if you want to go for it! Good luck whatever you decide to do

I recently had lower eyelid surgery and was extremely happy with the results. Dr Topinka is a fantastic surgeon and I would use him again if I ever wanted anything else done. I wanted to look as if nothing had been done (just the sagging removed).

No one can tell I've had surgery unless I choose to tell them. I am in the medical field and interviewed many well known MD's before deciding on him. He is one of the top plastic surgeons for facial surgeries around.

Hi, I am considering having my lower eye bags removed, they have been getting worse over the years and as I take after my dad it frightens me that I am going to look like him in the years to come. They make me look tired and older than I am. So I am hoping to make the decision over the next few months as I will be starting work again soon after looking after children from the last 13 years. Seems to be very expensive in the UK for such a ‚small‘ op.

Hi ive have had very puffy lower eye bags and people have always said ive have not had enough sleep or they will say look at them shopping bags its been years and ive tried to just ignore it, but when ever someone wants a pic i just have to point my face up so that it hides them, ive took a pic myself and now decided no more bags they are just getting me down, so im going abroad as england clinics just ask for so much high price, so i hope anyone who feels like me to do the same and lift yourself up and lets live .

So I have finally plucked up the courage to pay the £300 deposit and book my flights. Booked in for lower eye surgery on 10/10/11.

Hi jayne i only choose beautiful beings because they show more on there site there is a video showing the inside of hospital but having said that this one is great also, prices are little more but not that much, im gonna book my own hotel and flight think i might be able to get that cheaper need to be there i guess from 3 days or a week im gonna stay the week ,so the doctor there can take out my stitches, im 42 and just had enough of me looking puffy and tired time to make that change.

I totally agree with you. I feel the same…I reached 45 and whenever I see my reflection in windows etc all i see is my under eye heaviness.

Yeah little things like the eyes can really make you down, people always saying you had a rough night or havent slept much lol, its time to make that change and to be honest good time to i think in the 40's cause you dont look old its just the eyes let you down and once they are done it will knock 10 yrs off you hehehe sure will let you know how i get on my email is ritakhan4 (at) hot­mail.com. :)

Hi Shez & Jayne, I had my upper eyelid surgery done with Beauty in Prague (for 969 GBP) due to my eyelids were resting on my eyelashes. I would put on eyeliner and it would end up on my brow bone when I would open my eye. Also getting headaches after being on the computer during the day.

It was the best thing I did. I feel younger my eyes are open and headaches have reduced. Hope this was helpful x

Hi shez £1,766.00 for upper and lower eyelid surgery? I saved over 200 quid with Beauty in Prague as I paid only £1,539.

Why didn't I do this sooner?? I am 42 years old my my eyelids were such mess. Always looked sad/ disgusted. My eyes were not symmetrical at all-- one had a roll and one sagged to eyelashes. Only 3 days post-op. Pain was minimal and surgery time was under an hour.

Thanks for that Rebecca & Molly. I was wondering how I would feel after the op…if I would feel well enough to go out and see Prague or if I would just want stay in cos of the pain. My partner is coming with me for support and I was thinking that a whole week in an apartment would send us both crazy! How long after the op could you put make up on? Was there much bruising?

Hi rebecca & molly thnx for info, rebecca did you get both done lower and upper, and how is everything, was you asleep during the op? thats a great price, i did get a higher price from here cause they suggested i get laser done which is more, I might have to look into it a bit more rather then just rushing, cause honestly im having to work overtime to pay for this . hope you both girls are doing well and living a happy life.
