Try Free Spirit's travelfortreatment.com insurance, they provide wider cover and insure you for any complications resulting from surgery.

what king of insurance do you need to take out if you are going abroad for cosmetic surgery and generally how much does it cost

I got 7 days travel insurance cover from Free Spirit Travel for Treatment for cosmetic surgery in Belgium for £39.56 – they seem to cover more, including complications. Most insurers won't cover you for going abroad for surgery so check first before you buy it.
