Since turning 40 I lost 110lbs, had liposuction and a face lift, waiting to have a body lift this summer.
I now look like I am in my early 30's and feel great.
I look around and all my friends hit 40 and fall apart. Cosmetic
surgery changed my life and I am not getting older but better!

I always carried a bit of extra weight and I would eat to try to make myself feel better when I was bullied. But in 2002 I decided I had to do something about it, and managed to lose 3st. I had a lot of excess skin, especially on my thighs and arms. I felt really embarrassed about it, and instead of fitting into slinky tops and trousers like I'd always dreamed of, I looked like a deflated balloon.
I tried to tuck my excess stomach skin into my trousers, and hide my baggy arms in long-sleeved tops, but my confidence plummeted. I'd lost all this weight but I'd actually been more confident when I was fat.'
I had a series of operations between 2005 and 2008. With every operation I had, I was more and more pleased with the results. Gradually my body was looking like I wanted it to.
Colleagues started commenting on my size 12 figure and I began to feel more confident. I bought some party dresses and high heels which showed off my trimmer waist and more shapely legs, and for the first time in my life I actually felt sexy.
Last summer in Turkey, I wore a bikini for the first time and
I felt fantastic. I'm actually proud of my body for the first time
