Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

Has anyone gotten an arm lift before? It is where they remove excess skin from the upper arm. I am having it done in January! I am getting anxious!

Having had a lot of plastic surgery (tummy tuck, upper eyelid lift, all-over liposuction TWICE and upper arm lift), I'm plenty familiar with the pain and discomfort associated with plastic surgery. My upper arm lift surgery was very difficult to recover from. You don't realize how much you lift your arms in a day until you have 10 inches of sutures down the inside and across your armpits! To be honest, I don't think I would do that one again…I didn't need it bad enough to justify the pain and extensive scarring associated. My scars have diminished a lot, but it took a few years and during those years they were very bad looking and embarrassing.

am thinking about armlift surgery but after reading the post on the dsdisomfort and embarrasing sars am having 2nd thoughts..please help and advise

Hi the lady wh0 was having arm lift in january did you go ahead and how is it. i have been told i need a wedge of 3inch skin taken away from my arms, does this sound familier.

hi i had an upper arm lift last september. i must say that i didn't have much pain after the surgery at all and was expecting alot worse.nornal painkillers eased the pain and took them for a few days.I am glad i had the surgery and i like my scar alot more than the saggy skin x x

i am booked to get an upper arm lift in prague in july, am feeling a bit nervous and excited would love to speak to anyone who has had an arm lift before.

I am going to have an arm lift but the surgery is so expensive in london. I have been looking at having it done in Prague. Has anyone had surgery here and was it okay. #
I am not nervous having it in uk but abroad is a bit worrying if you dont know the country. thanks Gill
